House A is part of the Hietasaaren Gård community project, where several individually designed houses form a harmonious, architecturally high-quality entity at the Oulu Housing Fair 2025. Valotehdas has been involved in the project, designing the lighting together with the builders, ensuring that the lights in each home complement the spatial design language and interior.
In this home, the lighting solutions combine subtle indirect light with precisely targeted luminaires that highlight the beauty of materials and architectural details. In the living room, track lights and an LED strip light placed at the ceiling line create a soft, even general light that can be directed as needed. In the kitchen, recessed downlights provide bright task lighting, while the lighting for the backsplash and display cabinets adds warmth and visual depth. Details such as the tiled wall have also been emphasized with accent lighting, enhancing the space's architectural appearance.
The lighting solutions in House A demonstrate how combining different light sources can create a functional, harmonious, and impressive ensemble. More pictures of this property will be published in the autumn.
